Treetops Lodge is nestled at the heart of thick aberdares on a previous elephant migratory route between Aberdare ranges and Mount Kenya. This game viewing lodge was built in 1932 and is famous as the place where the then Princess Elizabeth ascended to the British during her visit after the death of Her Father King George VI on Feb 1952.
