Day 1: Samburu Game Reserve;
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Samburu National reserve crossing the Equator
and driving through the rugged semi-desert of northern Kenya, Arriving in time
for lunch. Afternoon game drives to search for the residents of Samburu
reserve. Dinner and overnight Ashnil Samburu Camp
Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve
Full day explore of Samburu with game drives in the morning and in the evening. An option of visiting Samburu village at extra cost. Search for the rare liver red reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Blue flanked Somali Ostrich, Vulturine Guinea Fowl, Long neck Gerenuk, Lions, Cheetah, Leopards among other plains game. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp

Breakfast and drive to the shoulders of Mt. Kenya via Thomson Falls arriving Lake Nakuru ‘the ornithological paradise’ in the afternoon – it’s a Bird watchers paradise. It has a surprisingly number of animals, all the “big five” except the elephant. Dinner and overnight Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge

Day 4: Maasai Mara National Reserve;
Breakfast and depart for Masai Mara crossing through the floor of the rift valley. The abundant concentration of the park is not available in any other park especially the sheer number of the cats supported here. The Masai culture is not left behind as when you wish to visit a Masai village you’ll meet with the red clad Masai warriors tend their multi-colored herds amongst plains game. Afternoon game drives will follow. Dinner and overnight Mara Sopa Lodge
Breakfast and depart for Masai Mara crossing through the floor of the rift valley. Full day spent for viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
