Forest Castle Lodge

Private Hut
There is a bush hut
for guests seeking complete privacy in the serene rain forests on the slopes of
Mt Kenya. One can get there by walking for 2 hours or horse ride. The hut has spectacular
views of Mt. Kenya peeks and the forest. The Hut is self-contained with one large
room, fully furnished small kitchen with necessary utensils, fire place and
collapsible double bed. A caretaker lives there who helps guests with cooking, lighting
fire and taking you around and also the horses during your stay.

Chalet Montane
A beautiful spacious cabin which sleeps 4 in one double bedroom and a
loft with a double bed. There is a lot of space to put extra beds or
mattresses.
It has a bathroom with bath and shower, a fully
equipped kitchen, a large living room with fireplace and a verandah with full
view of Mount Kenya. The cabin is set apart from the other buildings facing the
forest boundary where the elephants like to roam. It is solar powered and the
kitchen has a gas-oven.
